Organizers and Motorcities National Heritage Area brought the Dream Cruise festivities from Oakland County all the way to Downtown Detroit last year, this year it doesn't look like it will happen. They didn't earn enough money to repay the costs of promoting and running the festivities so there's no way they can keep this event alive in Detroit this year. It's kind of a bummer I know, but it goes along with the terrible economy we are having right now. Maybe there will change for the future, all we can do is hope!
