GM finally pulls the cover off the new Camaro! This is a picture of the actual Chevy Camaro that will come out in 2010. The muscle car looks beautiful, even though the car is moving the five spoke wheels look great. I love the fastback look, GM hasn't used that look for a muscle car in a long time. I just hope this Camaro performs just as good as it looks. The car is said to produced around 422 horsepower with the LS3 engine
The new S-197 Ford Mustang is one hell of a muscle car, it features a new body design that gives it a more muscle car look to it. I love the new split five spoke rims that have a one of a kind look to it. The only thing I don't like is the fact that Ford still hasn't upgraded the motor, it's still pushing around 300hp. The premium model should be able to compete with the premium Camaro. But, the word flying around the web is that in 2011 it might get an upgrade, we're talking a 5.0L engine that will make around 400hp.
I'm so lucky to be in the hometown of the Woodward Dream Cruise. If you haven't been to the muscle car cruise, you have been missing out big time. There are more than 30,000 muscle cars that gather for this event each year, it is actually the largest car cruise in the World. I really can't wait this year, I just hope the bad economy won't effect the street rods, custom cars, classic cars from comming out. So if you plan to take some time off from your job, you might want to take a trip to Royal Oak, Michigan to watch the Woodward Dream Cruise. Here's a photo of some PT Cruisers lined up in the Cruise, shows you how much fun it can be!
The best built muscle car to date has to be the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, what do you think? I mean a raw stock 620 horsepower to the ground, I'm very impressed with the LS9 engine . Not so impressed with the base price, set at around $103,000. But, if you're comparing it to the other super sports cars and hot rods, it's still under their price range. So yes, it is a pretty decent priced exotic muscle car. I for one would love to take that LS9 engine and stick it in another lower class muscle car, such as a fourth generation LS1 Camaro or Trans Am, that's if it would fit...? I checked out the muscle car parts store and GM is asking a pretty big price, a whopping $21,000. Very high, but maybe we will see some rich car enthusiasts do it in the future.
If you're in the market for a new muscle car for sale you might want to check out our auction store. The store has some very reasonable prices. We also have a big variety of muscle car parts ranging for different year Mustangs, Camaros, Firebirds, Chargers, Vipers, etc... What's great about the store is the easy search box up above, just type in the year and the part you want and it will pop right up. The page will list the prices and how many bids have been made on the specific car part. It is really one of the easiest stores to navigate through.
Greatest Movie Moments - 2008 Woodward Dream Cruise
I put this video together after getting a ton of shots at the 2008 Woodward Dream Cruise. This year was a ton of fun, I went two for days, so many sweet muscle cars it was unbelievable. So I thought I'd throw a small video together for the site and dedicate it to the old SEMB crew. Special thanks goes out to Bob Segar and George Thorogood for making such sweet songs!
